At long last the classic BBC Radiophonic educational album known as "The Seasons" has arrived. Rarely seen and rarely heard this has become a very influential recording. All music is by David Cain and all poetry was written by Ronald Duncan (who also wrote the screenplay to Girl on A Motorcyle). The album is dark, odd, slightly disturbing, the poetry pregnant with peculiar metaphors and bleak visions. In other words it's bloody marvellous.

It has been remastered form the original Radiophonic Workshop tapes, sleeve notes are by Jon Brooks, Julian House and David Cain. The LP comes with an insert, the CD comes with a very large booklet with a Q&A with David Cain and images of some of the very rare slides that were made to be used with the original album in the schoolroom. I think I've bigged it up enough now, so if you would like and advanced one please follow the instructions below.

1) decide what you'd like. The LP inc postage is £10. The CD inc postage is £5. Both are £15 etc

2) Find the correct bank note(s) for your order.

3) Get a piece of paper, approx A4 in size. On this please write your name, your address and what you'd like to buy. Then finish off by drawing a picture of any season. So like a leaf for Autumn, a snowman for Winter. You get the idea. It doesn't matter how good or bad this drawing is. But there will be a prize for the best one. I won't be deciding the winner, my six year old yobbo will.

4) Next simply wrap your money in the paper and stick it all in an envelope.

5) The please send it to the following address:

Des The Mad March Hare

State 51

8 - 10 Rhoda Street

London

E2 7EF

If you are abroad please drop me an email and we'll sort something out. The album will also be available in ye olde Trunk shoppe very soon, and I've just had a small number of the very popular LARD tee shirts re made because lots of people missed out. They can be found here: http://trunkrecords.greedbag.com/buy/refined-lard-tee-shirt/

One final thing, the Seasons will be posted out late this week and early next week because of half term, which means my kids are very much in the way of any mail order activity.

Thanks for listening.
