There is a new tee shirt in town. Or rather in the Trunk Records shoppe. It's called the DJ Not For Sale Tee shirt and it's a design directly from a promo sticker I've found a few times on American LPs from the 1960s. On the few occasions I have seen this DJ Not For Sale sticker I have said to my self "wow, great sticker, would look great on a tee shirt". And now I've been and gone and done it. The sticker has been significantly enlarged to 24cm wide to sit on the front of the shirt, but is an exact replica in terms of the colour scheme, which is Day-Glo orange and black. The black turns a bit orangey brown because of the Day-Glo orange underneath, which is exactly how the sticker looks too. The design is printed in plastic based ink so the design and colours will remain strong for man years, and is printed on to those very lovely Continental brand tee shirts. At the moment the tee shirt is available in three colours - white, light blue and a sort of sexy grey. I wore one last night, the test being if my wife laughs at me or not. Well she didn't and commented on how excellent the colours were. And then she wanted to rip it off me quick.

The tee shirts can be seen here.

They are perfect to wear if you are playing out records at any time, perfect as a gift for the DJ in your life (which may well be yourself) and just perfect if you want to remain extremely groovy. Yeah.

I'm still wearing mine from last night and I'm now going for a run round the park in it to see how many joggers stop me and ask me where I got it from.

Thanks for listening
