Good morning. I thought I'd start your Friday with something terribly modern. Over recent weeks I've been issuing some quite rare recordings as downloads and ocassionally spreading word about them via the modern media feeding site they call the Twitter. A couple of weeks ago I put up downloads of the first Radiophonic Workshop singles (Time Beat and Waltz In Orbit) for 20p each, which seemed to get some people very excited. Especially when they heard Waltz In Orbit for the first time.

Well last night I had an idea to extend this a little bit and came up with the terribly modern #50pFriday. Quite simply, every Friday, and just for that Friday I will offer up a download for just 50p. This could be just about anything, (a whole album, a rare single, an EP, a compilation, my wife) but the first one today will be the absolutely classis Eden Ahbez album. And I mean classic, it's an exotic monster, if you do not have it you really do need it in your ears and your life. So, you can go here and download the whole album for just 50p, but only today.

And yes, I know it's not quite the same as a sexy physical vinyl release, but I still do those too. But I really can't do everything, so this is a sort of odd compromise.
