Good morning, and if you haven't guessed it already, today's #50pFriday deal is the complete score to Bedazzled. That's the 1967 film Bedazzled, not the other one. The recordings come from Dudley Moore's actual masters and include two extra and slightly different mixes of the both classic vocal cues, Bedazzled and Love Me. If you don't have this absolutely classic soundtrack all I can really say is that it's a landmark in hip 60s film music, with Dudley Moore taking his awesome pop jazz to very new and beautiful heights and Peter Cook turning in one of his best performances ever as Drimble Wedge. It really is a brilliant album and for some has been a gateway into more jazz and even more film music. And today this great work is just 50p. And it's my birthday this weekend, so happy birthday to me.
Here is the fabulous 50p link.
Thanks for listening as always
