Hello, today I have a few things to mention.
First of all is the #50pFriday album, which is the rare set of early Godzilla SFX. This is an incredible set of bizarre sounds and effects made using things like metal gloves sliding across cello strings; the results are brilliantly odd Japanese sounds and we all need a few of those in out lives.
There is a link here.
Secondly some of the drawings sent in for the Orff LP have been posted up, this includes several Humpties, black sheep and the winning entry, a "wanted" dish and spoon poster. There are two pages worth and they start here.
Thirdly, there is information about two up and coming Trunk albums, which you can read all about here and here.
Fourthly there are some trashy Trunk recommedations posted, which is the first lot in some while. They are here, and you can see the Tommy Steel track I mention sung in the film it was meant for here.
I shall leave you now with the most beautiful short film about glassmaking I have ever seen. It's about ten minutes long. Have a look here. It won an Oscar in 1959 and includes jazz, electronics (Dissevelt), some good hair and a fine duster coat.
Thanks for listening.
