Hello, it's Friday, so hoorah! And today for the #50pFriday album we have the rarely seen and rarely heard debut recording by the first lady of harp, Dorothy Ashby. And lovely it is too. Especially if you are on your way home. The only reason I say that is becuase it has a fine, gentle feel (a little bit like myself) which I find is perfect for the end of the day, when my kids have finally bloody well gone to bed and I can get the wine out.
Anyway, enough about me, here is a link.
Also, if you are in the UK and can be bothered to spend £2.70 (!) on the Observer this Sunday, there is supposed to be a thing about the Classroom Projects album in there written by a very good journalist.
I'm now off to try and find the thieving sod who stole my bike lights last night.
Thanks for listening.
Jonny
