Good morning, I hope you are well. This is a big important mailout, with three things to mention.

First of all, today's #50pFriday album is the debut by Les Double Six, a killer vocal harmony group from Paris. Their version of Coltrane's Naima is not only one of my favourite recordings but is often mentioned by Robert Wyatt as a true masterpiece. There is a link here.

Secondly, the annual Dirty Fan Male event has been organised, It's at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club on Tuesday 10th December. Tickets are £10 on the door. If you would like to come along please email me to book tickets / tables. Space is very limited so please be quick. Last year it sold out stupidly fast.

And finally, the Palmer Rockey album is here. In my front room. It's his unique soundtrack made to the film he wrote, directed and starred in (as twins) that he cut and re-named several times and still hardly anyone has ever seen it because it's so mad and no one knows where it is. Musically it's strangely moving and oddly addictive. The LP and CD will be in ye olde trunk shoppe shortly. But it's now available exclusively to the Trunk mailing list. Prices for this mailing are £10 for the LP inc postage, £5 for the CD inc postage. Which is still stupidly cheap. Anyway, If you'd like to get yourself a copy (or copies) please follow these simple instructions carefully:

1) decide what you want, and find the correct combination of £10 and £5 notes.

2) get yourself a piece of paper, about A4 size, on which you must write your name, address, what you'd like (ie an LP, or CD etc).

3) please then draw a picture of a scene from your favorite film. This could be anything - Julie Andrews on the hillside, Sgt Howie burning to death, Jack Carter naked with his shotgun in Newcastle - It doesn't matter how quick, bad or good this drawing is, just have a go. As usual there is a prize awarded for the best one.

4) Then wrap your money in the paper, put it in an envelope and please send to the name and new address below:
