yes, today it's dogs for 50p. Well sort of. Legendary Italian composer Riz Ortolani died a few weeks ago. He made his name on the world stage thanks to his fine score for Mondo Cane (literally "a Dog's World"), an Italian "Mondo" film that made the world hungry for odd globetrotting documentary style movies about all things weird, kinky and a bit ghastly too. Today you can download his hugely important and often covered score. It's here, along with the other LPs and the single that have been available in February for 50p.

On another note, there will be a Vision On happening in Stoke Newington next week. On 5th March myself, the lovely Corinne from Swing Out Sister and artist in residence Auntie Claire will be hosting this free evening of music, drinking, drawing and mucking about. The venue is The White Rabbit, 125 Church Street, Stoke Newington, N16 0UH. All art materials and music are supplied by us, you have to buy your own drink. It's normally very entertaining. 7pm onwards.

I'm now off to take the Iron Chicken back to Kent, where she lives.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
