Hello, I hope all is groovy.

Today there are a few announcements:

First of all, today's #50pFriday album is City Of Glass by Stan Kenton, It would be rare to find such a progressive, odd and strange album from 1951. Written by the peculiar composer Bob Graettinger, this is a truly unusual album in the history of American post war music making. A link is here.

Also, the all new and quite amazing Trunk app is now available!!! This is the first ever fully licensed and insanely accurate emulator of the VCS3. Built by EMS in the late 1960s, the VCS3 shaped the sound of modern music in extraordinary ways. Eno, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Gong, Hawkwind, The Radiophonic Workshop etc etc etc all used the EMS VCS3 to staggering effect. Many of the scary Dr Who atmospheres and creature noises were generated by the VCS3 too. This app, called the iVCS3 is not only far more stable that an original £8000 machine, but also includes a sequencer and keyboards from the suitcase Synthi AKS plus other very exciting features. Hours, no weeks of endless mindboggling fun are to be had, and the app comes with patches already installed from Delia Derbyshire's dope sheets, plus patches from The Who etc. A truly mindbending app with an insane level of detail and depth. Further info plus links and stuff are here. Its already had some amazing review online.

There are also some Trunk update to be seen, with recommedations and a host of terrible and often briliant small drawings from The Sammy World Of Sammy Lee. Incidentally a handful of Sammy Lee vinyl have just arrived at the warehouse and are now in ye olde Trunk shoppe. I had ran out last week and can now catch up so if you are one of the very few who haven't got yours yet I will be sending it out today.

There is also another Vision On Night on 9th April, but more about that another time.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
