Yes, good morning, first up I must apologies, as the long awaited Trunk LP has been delayed. The CD is here, but thanks to Record Store Day all the plants are still disrupted and way behind schedule and even though my LP was supposed to be here last week (which made it already quite late), I got an email on Monday to say it would be at least another week. SO, yes, I'm very sorry about that, but the LPs will be shipped the day they arrived. Normally it takes about 4 weeks to make an LP. This is almost three times that.
There is a 50p Friday album today, by the awesome whistler Muzzy Marcellino. He sure can blow a tunes, and here he is, backed by the wonderful Russ Garcia orchestra. The album can be found here. There are some excellent cues on the album including cherpy classics such as Four Twenty AM, and some really freakish ones too, like Call Of The BIrdwatchers. I know it's the anniversary of D-Day but resisted a war-based recording (Vera Lynn may well be No.1 this week) and went for something cheerful.
After several recent requests I have manufactured some new tee shirts. So there are some new blue Trunk ones and some Refined Lard ones.
Also, the Radiophinic man Peter Howell (he also did things like that crazy Through The Looking Glass record and was also in Ithaca) will be on the OST Show tomorrow on Resonance FM. It is being broadcast live from the Science Museum from 3pm to 5pm. Might be quite a good listen.
And finally here is a sequence of rare 60s, 70s and 80s TV opening titles which are very entertaining (especialy the 80s neon ones), but will be removed quite soon I reckon, as the last ones I put up have already been taken down.
Thanks for listening...
Jonny
