yes it's me again. With the #50pFriday thing. Today it's the turn of Huey "Piano" Smith and his Clowns, with the fine help of Dr John. Yes, Dr John. Before anyone knew who he really was. It's a rarely heard festive romp, with lively tunes about turning White Christmas Blue and things like that. The album can be found here. 

This week has been insanely busy this end, with the Tam...Tam...Tam...! album sort of exploding. Response to it has been overwhelming, so thanks to everyone who has bought one, ordered one and has contacted me to say how incredible they think it is. Emails have come in from Brazil, Japan, the USA, Australia and just about every European country. Quite incredible for an album issued in 1958.

I'm now about to sit down and start some heavy mail order, and should make it to the Post Office to annoy everyone in the queue with all my parcels by about midday. I then have a Nativity at 2pm. Apparently my youngest will be dressed as a cow.
