hello, I hope all is well.

Last week the #50pFriday album did indeed go for a Burton, some spooky electronic glitch made loads of tracks start half way through. As a result I withdrew the album. The Burton problem has now been fixed, but will not be available now until next week (such is the nature of uploads for downloads) so it will now be ready for St David's Day which is very appropriate. By the way, I didn't know or realise this, Travis Elborough, writer and member of the Trunk mailing list told me so last week, which is nice.

So, today, instead of a Burton re-run, we have something completely different. Well sort of. It's still a bit dark though. It's the soundtrack to a noirish French murdery thing called Un Temoin Dans La Ville. Bluesy, moody and very well played indeed by a band of jazz superstars, this is a great musical thing. It can be found here.

No I haven't updated the Trunk website, in fact I've had a week or doing all the things I didn't want to do and very few of the things I wanted to have a go at, like updates and more. Although today will be better as I have to go to Crystal Palace to look at a big collection of raving mad LPs. I shall report back.
