Hello, I hope all is groovy. First up, I have been told that the delay in downloads last week was down to Paypal changing their payment settings and not telling Greedbag. Eventually everyone got their downloads and this time we can blame Paypal for the problem and not Greedbag.

This week, as we steam into an exciting Bank Holiday, I've chosen a rare album by Sam "The Man" Taylor. He was a groundbreaking sax player and Blue Mist was his debut LP. It's a superb slice of calming late night lurv music, and is best enjoyed with someone you love or something you love. The album and indeed the title track was originally used in the stage version of Abigail's Party. It was the smoochy music used when Bev dances with Ange's husband Tony. The legend goes that actress Alison Steadman suggested to the director that they use it. However it was replaced on the TV version by a slice of library music by Robert Farnon. So there, we've all learned something. The album can be found here, along with the other 50p albums from the month of April.

Anyone who follows me on Instagram will know I've been having a Trunk office clearout this week and finding all sorts of things I'd forgotten I'd found, bought or made. I have these posters left; a one-off Vision On one, and a one-off Atomage one.

And I'm now off to Oxford Circus, then Bethnal Green, then back to Oxford Circus, then back to Stoke Newington (all to do with records) then off to the hell that is the M25 where I intend to stay in the slow lane for the rest of the weekend and the bank holiday too. It's amazing what they've done to the service stations over the last few years.

Have a smashing bank holiday.  Thanks for listening
