Hello, I hope all is groovy.

I am still on hols but almost back in London. Currently just outside of Weston Super Nightmare in fact, and a few miles from Bristol. This morning I'm riding my chum's wife, I mean wifi, and so can send out the #50pFriday mailing. I have also managed to pick up some emails, which include a few "complaints" from various #50pFriday fans, who all spotted that the last #50pFriday mailing was on the last day of July, but DID NOT include all the 50p albums from July. So today I have tried to remember what was available in July and made them available again. I think I have got it slightly wrong, but the Peggy Seeger one is there which nicely coincides with the very fine long artcile about Peggy in Mojo this month called "The Rebellious Muse".

Anyway, today's #50pFriday LP is based on the fact that I have been reading a lot this week (mainy oldish newspapers and books about phorensics), and came across a recent best seller list. Top, was Harper Lee. So I thought I'd put up the amazing, melodic and very beautiful Elmer Bernstein soundtrack to the superb To Kill A Mockingbird movie. You can download it here, along with all the other ones from July.

You can even see the complete classic movie here. It has some amazing performance in it, and Gregory Peck is simply outstanding. And for soem reason, this version has subtitles.

Before I go, RIP Cilla and also George Cole - who as well as being in the St Trinian's movie was also in Cleopatra. And apparently this Cilla track is a Bill Brewster fave.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
