Hello, I hope all is groovy. I have a hangover because of the Fuel / Music Library Book launch last night. No one plays library music quite like Jerry Dammers.

My hangover would also explain why there are still the #50pFriday albums for sale from last month because I'm not sure I have the brain power this morning to remove them all. But I have managed to sort out a new #50pFriday LP and this one is based on a conversation I had with DJ Food lat night. He was saying how much he enjoyed the Jim Fassett Strange To Your Ears LP last week, and of course I then go and say "if you liked that Mr Food there is another even better one". It's called Symphony Of The Birds, and by this time Jom Fassett had got so good at tape manipulation he decided to make a whole symphony using just bird calls. I mean wow. And wow again. The album can be found here.

I was also supposed to get a load of 20,000 Leagues tee shirts sorted for sale by today but I have failed miserably, probably because I went to see an old chum who sells amazing old clothing this week. I was supposed to go for an hour and get back and do some work but spent the whole day there. I also spent the children's inheritance on three shirts from the 1950s, one of which I wore last night. And no one was rude about it.

This week I also got send this amazing film preview. Well it's not exactly a preview, more of a look we've remastered this classic film from 1958. It's still looks unbelievably "now" - and is a steampunk's dream. I have never seen anything quite as magical. Well not since I last went to the bathroom.

One last thing, next week I start posting on Instagram for The Museum Of Childhood (@museumchildhood). I told them ther Instagram feed could be way better than it is, so I spent two days in their archive dogging I mean digging about and taking pictures of incredible and bizarre objects. If they let me carry on with it there are some amazing images in store.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
