Hello, I hope all = groovy. All = groovy here. And my 6 year old found a fiver on the floor in the posh off license last night, so all = super groovy.

So, onto today's super sexy 50p download, which today is based on my wife's dream crush, Paul "Sexy" Newman. It's The Hustler, a mightly fine bluesy sounding score by Kenyon Hopkins (I love Kenyon Hopkins) for the 1961 pool-based drama. Paul Newman can be seen many times in the film wearing a  vest, which is very exciting for Mrs Trunk. Sadly the sight of my good self in my M&S vest rarely has the same effect, even if I have The Hustler playing in the background. Anyway, the #50pFriday LP can be found here.

Here you can see when the KPM library cue that turned into Terry And June met Jeru The Damaja. Thanks to Johnny Pearson. But not THE Jonny Pearson.

In other AMAZING news, I am NOT going to the Spitalfield's record fayre today as it's not on - there is a corporate Gin festival there today instead. But I am playing AMAZING records on Tuesday 11th at the AMAZING ALL NEW SPIRITLAND. This is at their latest hang out in Kings Cross, near St Martians (see what the student wear before you pick me up on the spelling) and the important information is that it's free to get in, they have superb food and beer, and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL they have a £30,000 hi fi systems that will wet its electric audiophile pants when I play super rare lovely deep groove records on it for four hours from 8 until midnight.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
