Hello I hope all is spooky. It's all getting pretty spooky here. I'm currently in Wales, in Cardigan (and yes, wearing one too) and yesterday I saw a Kingfisher fishing on the river bank. My god was I excited. I've also seen that the town of Cardigan is embracing Halloween with almost gay abandon - everywhere is turning orange and black. There are spooky spiders in shoe shops, ghosts in cafes and pumpkins in the butchers. Love it.

And as this is the nearest Friday to Halloween there is a GIANT HEAP of #50pFriday horrors all for 50p - hipster halloween vibes, rare soundtracks, classic Trunk recordings and even reincarnations - yes my horrid chum, all sorts of Halloween joy can be found here.

Also, If you can make it into London for next Friday, this event is on - called Festival Of Light it features the groovy Ghost Box folks, it's the launch of a brand new Chappell Library compilation (by Ed from Friendly Fires), there is live music and also a first showing of Circle Of Light on 35mm since the early 1970s.

If you are still up for more spooky oddness, here is Stanley Unwin meeting Peter Hawkins, the man who was the voice of Bill and Ben. Bonkers. And if you tune into the OST Show tomorrow on Resonance FM at 4.30pm there is a rare re-run of the show I did with "Lord Of Darkness" Garth Marenghi. He's hilarious.

I'm now off to Cardiff, where we once performed Dirty Fan Male for two nights running at the most impressive Millenium Centre. To be honest I'm surprised they are letting me back into the city.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
