Hello, and yes I know it's Thursday. But there is a new Trunk album in town.
It is the third in the groovy Britxotica! series, this one is called Tropical Britxotica! I love it - 16 tracks of Polynesian pop and placid jazz from the wild British Isles no less. Yes, meet a series of British artist who sang and played about milk from coconuts, of treasure islands, of heatwaves and there's one of the most sublime versions of "Quiet Village" I have ever heard. And all made originally here in the UK. There is also a superb song about a hurricane disaster from 1929, but more of that in a second...
So, to buy an advanced copy of this amazing LP of exotic British madness you can do the following:
1) Get £15 in notes (this is for the LP plus postage in the UK). OR, get £20 in notes (this is for the LP, plus postage, PLUS a donation to the Haitian Hurricane Appeal).
2) Get a piece of paper.
3) Write your name, your address and write down your order too - something like "hi Jonny, can I have the Tropical LP plus a donation to the Haitian Hurrician Appeal", or "Hi Jonny, can I have the all new Tropical LP, thanks".
4) at the bottom of the paper draw anything related to the tropics - a desert island, a banana, a quiet village - it matters not how good or bad this really is.
5) wrap the money in the paper you have written / drawn on and send it all here (and remember if it's a large envelope you will need a LARGE LETTER stamp:

6) if you are abroad, drop me an email and we'll sort something exotic out for you...
Thanks for listening
Jonny
