yes, hello, I hope all is groovy.

It's well groovy here. And slightly hungover. That's because I had a good chum over last night for dinner, but it was slightly marred by the fact that my kids kept interrupting us, mainly about 1) ficticious stomach aches and 2) Action Man on eBay. The the ficticious stomach ache then turned into something more sinister at about three in the morning so we all got less sleep than normal.

This leads nicely to today's amazing #50pFriday LP, which is Somnambulists, an amazing Polish LP full of sleepwalking jazz, wonder, and the amazing spooky voice of Wanda Warska. The music was first heard here, in this super cult Polish movie called Night Train. The amazing #50pFriday album can be found here.

Oddly, when I first bought the album many years ago, the Polish man I bought it from wrote "My Special Message..." on a post it note and stuck it to the front, referring to a classic quote from the legend that is Dirty Fan Male. And I have news of Dirty Fan Male 2016; one night only, 12th December, Bethnal Green Working Men's Club - £15 on the door on the night, but please email me to book tables / tickets. But please don't expect an immediate reply as I have loads of Britxotica LPs to send out this weekend.

Before I start packing up albums, I'm off to see my sisters for breakfast. I'm going suitably dressed as the adventurer.
