hello, I hope all is groovy. Things are fine here but my new year resolution of "only drinking not much" has failed already.
Talking of new years resolutions, I'd suggest learning the bongos in 2017. They are dead easy, and the #50pFriday album today is a classic and rare Learn To Play The Bongos album, with "Mr Bongo" himself, Jack Constanzo. He's brilliant, makes it all so very simple and fun and daft and if you have headphones and a desk at work you could secretly become well hot at the bongos by the end of the day. The Learn to Play Bongos LP for 50p plus loads of other 50p albums from the last year or so can be found right here.
You can also see Jack starring alongside Elvis, a little girl, a goat and some other odd people in one of the more peculiar Elvis musical moments here.
This week, well yesterday actually at Spitz, I saw a large collection of old cigarette cards at Spitz, which reminded me of this, their last appearance together. And tomorrow, on the OST Show I'm playing the all new music written by Paul Weller for the film Jawbone. There's a 24 minute track he's done and I think he's channelling Basil Kirchin and this kind of thing by The Walker Brothers.
I'm now of to the park to walk dangerously on the ice and you can find loads of stiupid ice walk "fails" on youtube if you want that kind of this morning.
Thanks for listening.
