hello, I hope all is groovy. Things are fine here, although someone stole the saddle from my bike on Wednesday after my Grafik talk about library music. It was a most entertaining evening, finished off with theft by a Shoreditch villain. It was a truly terrible ride home (as you can imagine), made worse by my chain falling off. I went to the pub just before closing and had my first pickled egg with Gumboot Jeff. He's Australian.

So, to the all sexy all new #50pFriday super special Valentine offers. We have Lea In Love, a rarely heard treat all about love and that by Barbara Lea. Yes, you may well not have heard of her but she is superb. I have also encouraged a small gathering of Valentine based albums in the 50p Section as I get a bit soppy and a bit randy this time of year. All 50p Valentine albums are here

If you are on your own this Valentine, you can read this hysterical and rude piece about masturbation by Giles Coren.

In other news, I got an email this week from someone who stopped me in the street while I was chatting to Julian House a while back. He sent me this link: Telly Savalas Looks At Birmingham. It's outstanding in many ways, especially the over 40s competition. I also got an email about wood glue and vinyl after last week's link, because this bloke does it and he's mad and it goes all wrong. Superb.

Also, an email from Spiritland pinged in. You can now hear my October 4 hour set here. Sounds pretty good and apparently is on regular rotation in the bar when they have no DJs. OSme classic 50p Friday music in that there set.

My apologies for a broken link last week. You can buy the Britxotica box here.

I am now headed to Petersfield to the only place in the Uk where I can buy terrified logs. I mean torrified.

Thanks for listening.
