Yes, hello, I hope all is groovy.

Today as you may or may not know, it's Delia Derbyshire's birthday. As a result I am playing at Coventry Cathedral at the super special Deliaphonic Day Out. So I thought I'd do something Delia for the 50p Friday; there's both Moogies Bloogies cues for just 50p, and as an accompanyment, some way-out electronics by Tod Dockstader. How darn cool is that! And all for 50p. These amazing things can be found here.

Also, (drum roll) there is a new Pheon LP in town. It's the inspiring and truly magical British jazz debut from Amancio D'Silva. This is an absolute masterpiece from 1967, a gentle and quite beautiful fusion where authentic  Eastern melodies and structure hits the hip London jazz scene. The title "Integration" is all too perfect, with Ian Carr, Don Rendell, Dave Green and Trevor Tompkins meeting their perfect musical match. I love this LP. It can be found on brand new vinyl here. This is the first ever repress and I strongly suggest you don't bother trying to find an original for a while as the last one went for a miserly £1400+.

Sticking with an East-meets-West theme, here is a short film about Jessica, a sort of Elephant in Suffolk.

I'm now off to Coventry, catching a train with Dammers, who no doubt will be plotting to shatter the incredible glass windows of the cathedral by playing his bizarre Moogy library LPs very LOUD indeed. Pictures will be on Instagram @jonnytrunk

Thanks for listening

Jonny
