hello, I hope all is groovy. It's getting groovier here.

This week I have mostly been selling watches. Military watches. For a chum of mine. It has meant I've been out of the BANGING HOUSE with an old coat with military watches hanging from the inside. I've also been selling jazz records. If you are after odd UK pressing of American jazz LPs (Kind of Blue etc) drop me a line. I have a lot. From a collection I saw last week. I might not get back to you that fast because of the end of this mailing.

Today also signifies the beginning of half term. This means a small UK exodus to the sea, both here in the UK and abroad. So today's 50p Friday album is all about that - The Sounds Of Sea And Ships. It's great, and ambient before anyone had even thought about the idea of ambient. It can be found here, along with all the other 50p things for May. I was also considering making my own album called The Sound Of Fish And Chips but I've not started it yet.

Apparently the latest issue of Fortean Times features a big thing about spooky 70s TV.

Maybe they've written about brilliantly rubbish folky 70s TV too. But that could be in the next issue.

There are some new Trunk updates and news of the new LPs will follow shortly. maybe next week even.

I'm now off to Norfolk. With my wife and kids. To wee in the sea.

Actually, no, I'm going to go with this lady in a new outfit.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
