hello, I hope all is groovy. It's well groovy here. Although I think there may well be something up with my emails.

I say this as I sent a big heap of emails out this week to various mailing list people living abroad who had contacted me about getting the all new Basil Kirchin sampler on clear vinyl (you know who you are). Normally I send out these emails and I get a flurry of activity in return. BUT I've had absolutely none at all which leads me to think that my emails are disappearing mid Atlantic / mid Channel or somewhere else mid. So, if you are abroad and want the all new Kirchin sampler on clear vinyl (I have put LPs aside for all who emailed) you now need this information:

One Kirchin LP to Europe £26
One Kirchin LP to USA / Japan rest of world £32

Paypal to my email address (jonny@trunkrecords.com) - and please make sure your address is on the Paypal thingy.

Thanks if you are in the UK and have already sent in your drawing. There have been many fine images so far - including a lavatory in a field and Chris Watson in his Cab Voltaire days. Keep'em coming. My children have some faves but not a winner yet.

As for the super duper 50p Friday album, today I have an absolute total masterpiece. Fiesta by Hideo Shiraki. This is a total legend of an LP by a total legend of a Japanese drummer. It can be found here for just 50p.

Here you can see him drumming in Japan. What a guy.

Here is a Ford Fiesta advert, with some good hair. Here is another one that was slightly more successful thanks to the line "how much?"

I'm now off to the small local post office with a LARGE mountain of Kirchin LPs for posting. I shall feel burning stares on my back as I hold up busy pensioners anxious to buy a stamp and that.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
