hello, I hope all is groovy. It's pretty groovy here.
Sad week mind, with the death of two major celebs - Brucey and Jerry. I have a Brucey LP that I will be bringing to the 50p Friday slot shortly, but until then a Jerry Lewis LP will suffice. Yes, The Nutty Professor did indeed make a celebrity LP, but the difference with Jerry's celeb LP and many others is that he really can sing and hold a tune. I reckon he should have done more. You can have him here for 50p.
Here is a classic example of the celeb LP that is slightly harder to deal with - one of my fave's in fact. Joe sounds a bit like an old lady.
In other news, there is a re-up of the Zwartjes LP here - please note it says "Mark Murphy" under the LP, but it really is nothing to do with Mark, it's a weird glitch I cannot remove. And there is a very short run of the absolutely killer Planet Of The Apes Bubble Gum tees in blue as I'd sold more than I made so had to do more. There are very few - just 4 in each size in fact. They are here. Be quick as the last lot went very fast indeed. Lots of ape fans out there.
This week I went to a market and nearly bought a Brian Wiltshire sculpture (Michael Garrick was his chum and had loads in his house) but it was too expensive for me. I started talking to the seller and he mentioned a short Brian film which I then found. Here it is. Sounds very much like a Kirchin cue in the background.
I am now headed to Cornwall for a last bank holiday summer hoorah. I'm already looking forward to several arguments in the car with my kids on the way down there about how much longer, the fact that they didn't "sign up" for the trip, and people taking up too much room in the vehicle.
Thanks for listening.
