Hello, I hope all is groovy. It's pretty groovy here. And I've just had my hair cut, so my wife recognises me again.
Thanks to all who bought pretty much everything in the last week; the Woolworths totes, the Woolworths tees, lardy things, Pogles prints, mix CDs, Kate Bush and more besides. All things wil be with you before Christmas. There are a few groovy things left in the Christmas sack so do have a look.
I now have a classy 50p festive offering called 78 Times Christmas. I went through a mass of festive 78 rpm recordings and came up with a top ten. A top ten that includes barnyards, chubby santas, naughty kids, puppies, hippos and a weird Norwegian man. This 50p Christmas classic can be found here.
Also, over the last 6 months or so I have been working on a peculiar and nostalgic "art" side project, based on "the rubbish I have eaten". Put simply, these are things from my past that I once ate, that I've now made into prints. Like chocolate and old lolly wrappers. The project is in its infancy but it seems to be working because I sold a big "Happy Days" print of lolly wrappers to a person in Las Vegas (!) this week, and I have no idea why. Anyway, my entertaining nostalgic foody stuff can be found here. This is just the beginning. Lots more around the corner.
I got a great email on Wednesday because of the Woolworths things, and it mentioned the K-Tel Record Selector. I need one the size of a small street.
Still no sign of the three new Trunk LPs that were supposed to be here several weeks ago. So it looks like January is when they might arrive, but who knows any more. Maybe Santa is bringing them to me.
Just one more 50p Friday email before Santa comes a knockin', and maybe see you this coming Monday if you are coming to Dirty Fan Male.
I am now off to help with all the post and then possibly afterwards sniff about for a good Black Forest Gateaux recipe.
Thanks for listening
Jonny
