Hello, I hope all is groovy. It's all good here although it is 5am and I am about to drive a hundred and something miles up the M1.

So, yes, the 50p weekly thingy. This week we are going all spoken word with some old faves - EE Cummings, Peter Cook, Ivor Cutler - as well as John Betjeman's first recorded work, Summoned By Bells. All about Cornwall and that. Nice. Important. Here.

If you are out and about next week, this coming Wednesday evening myself and Martin Green are welcoming people to The Lever Gallery in Goswell Road EC1 - it's a free night out, some wine, some beer, but most importantly there are some very hip and very beautiful original artworks to be seen there, all from super cool book covers and magazines features of the 1960s. Do come along, 6pm to 9pm, it's a free night art! And we have put together soem very fine music to play through the gallery too.

And for your viewing pleasure this week I have Orient, Club For A Fiver. I went to Leyton Orient a few weeks ago and it was quite brilliant, like football from the 1980s with half time Bovril and everything. Anyway, it reminded me of this short film, the legendary documentary when Leyton Orient shouldn't really have given an amateur film maker access all areas at a time when the club was going down the pan. It's a total classic for many reasons and some of Coach Sitton's dressing room rants are unforgettable. Beware of bad language in every sense of the word "bad".

And yes, I am now heading up the M1 to romp around an an archive. I may be some time.

Thanks for listening.

Jonny
