Hello, I hope all is groovy. It's pretty good here, helped by the glorious and unexpected weather.

As usual, good weather and sunshine put me in the mood for exotic music, and anything from Brazil is often that list. First of all I have news of a small vinyl repress of the legendary Tam...Tam...Tam! that has just arrived. It has been out of print for some while. I have 40 copies and they can be found here. And now that Tam...Tam...Tam! is back in, I thought the 50p Friday album should be the earlier companion piece from the very same Braziliana show that TTT comes from and that was made by the same producer and singer five years earlier. Simply called Braziliana, it features rarely heard Afro-Brazilian songs and dances. Just awesome. I've also added a pair of latin-based Schifrin albums in the 50p section today too. All can be found here.

News yesterday that TV permatanned presenter and personality Dale Winton passed away. I used to love Supermarket Sweet and wasted 20 minutes yesterday watching this hilarious episode. It works on many, many levels. Check it out, as they say throughout the classic theme tune.

To help your shopping you might just want one of the classic Trunk WOOLWORTHS RECORD DEPARTMENT TOTE BAGS! Yes, they are finally back in stock having sold out instantly at Christmas. They are superb, made of proper thick 10oz canvas with a two colour screen print on the front. They were very popular, so much so I've now gone and made an ALL NEW WOOLWORTHS TOTE BAG too, this from the early 1980s when they started selling budget VHS along with the LPs, cassettes and CDs. All formats are on the front. This is well classy and both new totes can be found here. There is also a new load of WOOLIES RECORD DEPARTMENT TEE SHIRTS back in - these can be found here. Perfect for you Record Store Day activities tomorrow. Or not.

In fact I shall be wearing my Woolies Record Department tee shirt as I now head off early to the Spitalfields Record Fayre. I imagine in this fine weather there will be far more sweat on show than normal. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
