Hello, I hope all is groovy. It's well groovy here, especially if you could see my kids new haircuts. Also, the weather is great which helps with everything.

So, thanks to all who bought the mid 1970s Spider-Man custom made tees or sweatshirts. A member of this esteemed list perked up with more information about the design - "Hi Jonny, that spider man illo is part of the first Steve Ditko cover art for the introduction of spidey's enemy 'Electro' who if i remember correctly was in fact his first super-villian confrontation." Gee I love you guys. There are a three transfers left and can be bought here

Today for the 50p Friday offer we are heading into history with the work of Edgar Varese, the great sonic experimentalist and to many, the father of electronic music. He didn't have anything like an EMS VCS3 (unlike Brian Eno does here) but he did conceive of the ides that electronics / electricity could and would become part of music. So, we have some Edgar Varese here for just 50p today. He is mad by the way, but in a good way.

Those of you keen to get your hand on the all new Trunk LPs (note the plural there) will be in luck next week. They were supposed to be ready this week but "ingestion" of the vinyl into Ye Olde Trunk Shoppe for some reason takes about a week now, when it used to take about a day. So next week. A lert will be sent out.  There is a stack of new Trunk and Vision On tees arriving too.

I now have to pack my bags / the car as after school we are going camping. I am taking the frisbee. It's the one thing I won't forget. Here is some great footage of the 1975 World Frisbee Championship with some shorts that are far too tight, some very groovy freestyling and even Larry Hagman.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
