Good morning. I hope all is groovy. It's groovy here but far too early as I was woken up by a neighbours dog woofing at squirrels at 5:45am.
First of all apologies for some download issues this weekend along with the message "please come back later" in loads of different languages. Apparently there are issues with a new platform update (what a surprise!) which will be sorted real soon I'm told.
In the meantime there is a new limited Trunk 7" single in town. Called KK / MM the A side features a very rare and exotically beautiful Karin Krog song called "A Quiet Place" that she made with Don Ellis back in 1969. The AA Side is Mark Murphy, and his sublime version of "Both Sides Now" that only appeared on his UK jazz LP that no one ever sees or hears. So killer A / AA sides and a pretty cunning combination (KK / MM) even if I say so myself.
Also, people have been complaining that they no longer have to write in and draw something stupid in order to get the new Trunk records. So today, your chance is back. To get yourself a very advanced copy of this superb record get yourself a £10 note. This will be for the record plus UK postage.
Get a piece of paper too, like A4, on which you can write 1) your name 2) your address 3) "I'd like the new 7" Trunk single please Jonny" and 4) finally draw a little cloud. It doesn't have to be a good cloud or brilliantly drawn, but I ask you to do this as some people like drawing and a cloud is very easy. And clouds are mentioned a lot in "Both Sides Now". Then, wrap the £10 in the paper, put the paper in an envelope and send it here:

If you are abroad drop be an email and we'll get you sorted another way. I now have to go and wake my kids up. This morning I shall be using a chinese dinner gong.
Thanks for listening.
