Hello, I hope all is groovy. It's pretty groovy here and I'm back in my shorts as it's nearly 19 degrees in the big smoke.

Advanced copies of the new Trunk LP are now in. This is the astoundingly beautiful soundtrack to Francis Ford Coppola's thriller The Conversation. Surely one of the most extraordinary movies of all time, made better due to the fact that the music, by David Shire, is so very affecting. Constrained by zero budget, Shire (who was Coppola's brother-in-law) had to tone down his original idea of using a big orchestra. The result is one of the most beautiful, minimal scores of all time. This is also THE FIRST TIME THIS SCORE HAS BEEN PRESSED ONTO VINYL.

I have 400 advanced copies here, all pressed onto a slightly seethrough silver vinyl - this has been done in homage of the slightly seethrough anorak Gene Hackman wears throughout the film. The rest of the presisng will be in standard black vinyl (I have some bvlack ones here too). But the slighty seethrough silver pressing are only available through me. To get yourself one of these advanced LPs at this reduced mail-order only price please follow these simple instructions.

1) find yourself £20. Each copy of the slightly silver seethrough LP is £20, inc postage in the UK. If you want a black one it's £20 too.

2) Find yourself a piece of paper.

3) write on the piece of paper your name, your address and then write exactly what you want - ie "Hi Jonny, I'd like one copy of the slightly seethrough silver Conversation LPs"

4) then draw a speech bubble on the paper and write something inside it. Anything. I'd don't care but the best speech bubble gets the record free. Try and keep it clean.

5) finally wrap the money in the paper, put it all in an envelope and send it right here:
