hello, I hope all is groovy. It's all groovy here. I bought some new socks and some chocolate yesterday so all is good, although I do worry about my waistline.
Now I know it's not 31st October yet but Halloween has already come early to this house, it's also half term next week and I'm away so I'm starting a bit now. First of all there is a few classic Trunk 50p Halloween albums in the Trunk shoppe. There will be more next week, but the first two volumes of Hipster Halloween are there, so is Halloween Voodoo. All super compilations and all can be found here.
Also, my chum with the amazing dead-stock 1970s tee shirt transfers has found some suitably spooky ones - we have 1970s Frankenstein Monster, 1970s Werewolf (with strange neon eyes) and 1970s Dracula all in The Trunk Boutique. They will be made to order, just let us know the size and your tee shirt will be made and sent. They can be found here.
Someone sent for The Conversation LP (a person from Scotland I believe) and failed to give a name or address so I cannot send them the LP. If it's you, please email me and tell me who you are and what you wrote in your speech bubble and I can send your LP.
Also people have been emailing me about Harry Caul's turntable set up. So things like this have been coming up. And here is an interesting thing all about his raincoat.
And someone wrote to me about a vending machine and sent me this. I think there was the very same "Sankey Super Compact" machine at the swimming pool in Aldershot in the 1970s.
I'm now off to Spitalfield Record Fayre to see if I can buy more rubbish than I did two weeks ago. Rubbish that included a copy of a pop magazine with an advert for Bay City Roller knickers inside, and an early Clive Dunn single I'm too scared to play.
Thanks for listening.
Jonny
