hello, I hope all is groovy. It's pretty groovy here now Halloween is out of the way - I spent Wednesday evening roaming the streets of N16 (dressed as The Invisible Man) chaperoning miniaturised versions of The Grim Reaper, The Werewolf, Dracula, a skeleton and a Friday 13th meets Chicken Takeaway thing. Interesting.

Thanks for all the emails re the Greedbag site and the fact that the normal function of previewing tracks has disappeared. I have been assured this is only temporary, apparently when an album has 15 / 20 cues it sends the entire site / page / back end / everything into digital meltdown. Then all the labels go into meltdown too. So they are trying to fix it. In the meantime I have a brand new and mighty fine 50p album that you could just buy without previewing as I can tell you now it has one of the best versions of Summertime I have ever heard, even though here, in the UK, Summertime has now gone. It's Buddy Collette's version of Porgy And Bess - all hip and experimental - and it can be found right here

Also this week, whilst in a spooky mood, I watched this doc all about Screaming Lord Sutch (he's on The Hipster Halloween comp) - I found it fascinating, inspiring and a little sad too.

Hopefully my visit to Spitalfield Record Fayre will not be sad this morning. I have saved up my pocket money and will be hoping to pounce on something private if you know what I mean.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
