Hello, I hope all is groovy. It's well groovy here as I've just had a hot cross bun. I know it's quite unusual for this time of year but they were at my local supermarket and I've always had quite a "thing" for them.
So, another remarkable and rare soundtrack available today for just 50p; it's a very early score by Michel Legrand for a Jean Luc Godard movie called Un Femme Et Une Femme (here's the wacky trailer that features pre McQueen bumsters) which I have not seen, but have heard if you know what I mean. Features classic early Legrand sounds - the blueprints of his future are here. Une Femme Et Une Femme can be found here for 50p.
Record collectors amongst you will know that the Utrecht monster record fayre is now on in Holland - you might even be there already. It's the sort of place you can buy all the rare records you've ever wanted, if you have loads and loads of money - like you could buy all the Marc Moulin / Placebo originals, but you might have to sell your flat to get them. And if you like Placebo you will like the odd film this week, Three Days In April, a rarely seen documentary about jazz in Belguim, including the groovy Mr Moulin and chums. It can be seen here.
I'm now off to a rubbish recrd fayre in London, where most of the dealers will be mising as they too, will be in Utrecht. I bought this angry Dad 7" last time and regret it. I warn you, this is a scary record.
Thanks for listening.
