hello, I hope all is groovy, it's all groovy here. Although the dog did eat something mysterious in the garden (pond mud? A toad?) and spent about four hours sicking it all up in the kitchen last night. Nice.
This week I have decided NOT to do a 50p Friday album. I'm not on strike, it's just that it's November 30th, I see Christmas trees and festive adverts everywhere but can somehow not bring myself to release Christmas-based things quite yet. Also, I have a few interesting things to offer next month - two new Trunk LPs, two new Trunk tees, three New Trunk limited prints, one new Trunk sweatshirt and so a break in my relentless demands for 50ps is probably a welcome one.
If you're still interested in 50p Friday albums there are ten pages of them here.
For the daft bit of film today, we are simply going to Family Guy. An old chum has stayed with me this week and (while we were talking about on-line activities and YouTubers) he mentioned the epsiode when Peter Griffin briefly became an "influencer". I watched this short clip and laughed a lot. Or you can watch Le Petomane, starring Leonard Rossiter from 1973.
There are a small handful of tickets left for Dirty Fan Male on Dec 11th. Email me if you are up for it and want a table - jonny@trunkrecords.com
This morning, once I have taken the youngest to school I will walk the dog, then walk up to my office and put together the as yet unnamed Trunk Christmas mix, which I am very much looking forward to doing. Once that is done I will hopefully have time to choose an impressive festive outfit for the de Wolfe Christmas party which is tonight, and it will be the first Christmas party I've ever been to in November. The world has gone mad.
Thanks for listening
Jonny
