Hello, I hope all is groovy. Pretty groovy here, especially now I've finished the Sex Education Box Set on Netflix.

Thanks to all who came to the SOLD OUT Library Music Film on Wednesday. And don't forget, myself and Martin Green are playing 5 hours of library music at the all new Spiritland venue at The South Bank on Sunday from 1pm until sex. I mean six.

SO, first up the new Trunk vinyl: this is a repress of the classic Kes soundtrack by John Cameron and features the beguiling flute / penny whistle magic of Harold McNair. I first issued this in about 2001, since then it has become an expensive LP to find on the second hand market. And also, these days there is a brand new small market for this kind of superb pastoral jazz film music so I thought another 500 copies with a new sleeve would be a good idea. I have one hundred in ye olde Trunk shoppe right now. Please note this is a one-sided LP, the score runs to just under 20 minutes and sleevenotes were written by Jarvis. Kes on vinyl can be found here.

Worth watching the classic Kes footy scene again if you have 7 minutes.

For 50p today we have a rare Burns Night recording. Yes tonight it's Burns night, I have never been to a Burns night but I have had haggis and drunk whisky and I'm more than tempted now to experince at least one Burns Night as there could be a chance of hearing someone recite "To A Mousie". Anyway, this is the only Burns Night recording I think I have ever found and can be found right here for 50p along with tons of other magic.

Talking of magic, I found this odd Ken Nordine Levis commercial last night. Never seen it before. Have you DJ Food? (he's a Nordine nutter btw).

I'm now of to walk the dog across the mud field that is Clissold Park, and then it's off to annoy the publishers Fuel about a Jonny Trunk book reprint. They don't know I'm coming yet. However I have just realised that they are both on this mailing list.

Thanks for listening.

Jonny
