hello, I hope all is groovy. It's pretty groovy here. And busy too. I have spent the week writing and researching more for the Wrappers Delight book project. Twenty cardboard cut out Muhammed Alis eating burgers from 1981 have been found and are now available on the pledging page. Which can be found here.

Tonight is the Midsummer Trunk / Ghost Box Happening so I thought that a party album might be appropriate for today's 50p Friday. And what a album. Let's Have A Party by Victor Sylvester says it all. I know of no other album that is quite so happy and that makes me dance about like a fool. It's the sort of LP that when I play it my spine goes all funny. So, let Victor batter you into dance submission all weekend of even all summer right here, for just 50p. Great version of "Tequila" too.

For today's daft film link I have another one related to a search I was doing this week, for an obscure fizzy drink brand from Scotland. With very little information to go on apart from an address, I came across this short cinema / Pearl And Dean sequence. An awesome one minute and ten seconds awaits...

Don't forget, next Sunday (June 30th) myself and Martin Green are playing another five hours of library music - 1pm to 6pm - at Spiritland on the South Bank. Free to get in nice. Good venue. Amazing sound system.

I'm now off to go and take the Trunk piano and a tee shirt carousel to the party venue, help out some more and maybe sneak over to the Spitalfields Record Fayre when no one is looking.

Thanks for listening as always

Jonny
