hello, I hope all is groovy. Pretty groovy here although the dog has decided to dig a hole in the new front room rug, which has not gone down too well at all with Mrs Trunk. I'm not that bothered, but then again I did not buy the rug.

While I was in the park yesterday, walking with the bad dog house dog, many (well three) of the dog walkers were saying that they'd put their central heating back on. It was feeling decidedly wintery. So last night I was looking around for a wintery 50p thing, and came up with Mike And Bernie Winters singing "Fallout Shelter". It's a brilliant and rarely seen single they made in 1962, all about - yes, you've guessed it, a nuclear fallout shelter. All quite odd for 1962 and musically ahead of the game. The slightly psychey Mike and Bernie are here. Shame they didn't make a video.

As for a daft film this week I don't normally feature myself, but this is from the Midsummer Night Happening and I was sent a link to it yesterday. It is worth watching to see Wisbey doing Get Carter in a reggae style. Wisbey and me me me can be found here. If you don't want to see me you can always watch Robin The Fog with Steve Beresford from the same night.

Now there was a plan to go to the terrifying and cold Spitz record fayre this morning but before that I have to make myself a potato cake out of the old mash from last night. It shall be served with egg and bacon and love. And some ketchup.

Thanks for listening as always

Jonny

P.S. I have just been informed by his daughter that David Cain, the early Radiophonic Workshopper, has just died. A gifted, pioneering musician, a wise man and also the first person to tell me that Delia has some personal hygene issues back in the day in Room 13. RIP David, and The Season is just 50p today
