hello, I hope all is groovy. Pretty groovy here. Cranking up production of things for the next couple of months. Sent another TOP SECRET LP off to get made this week. Along with some slightly more odd things that ar TOP SECRET too.
Thanks for all the emails about David Cain in the week. Someone sent me a link to this, the OST Show I did with him in 2012. What a groovy guy.
As for the 50p larks this week, some simple but interesting and pinoeering electronics, made for yet another hip, experimental ballet, but this time in NYC, circa 1960. All music by Remi Gassmann (which could have been a name given to me earlier in the week based on an incident in the bathroom). Anyway, Remi went on to work with other electronic luminaries such as Oskar Sala, the bloke infamous for the noises made for Hitchcock's Birds. So, Electronics By Remi Gassmann can be found here.
Here's another super musical link for you, a brilliantly overqualified drummer at a kid's concert in Japan, wearing a funny costume of course. Very much worth watching.
Or you could watch Ginger Baker (RIP) as part of The Graham Bond Org in this clip from the truly terrible Gonks Go Beat.
A date for your diary - I will be having a stall at the Indie Label market this year - November 30th at Coal Drop Yard in Kings X. I will have a new Trunk LP just for that day. Maybe even two if I get a wig on.
I'm now off to my screen printers, to pick up one of the new Trunk sweatshirts and to set up the next run of super groovy Trunk tee shirts. I dont know what the collective noun for tee shirts is, otherwise I would have used it in that last sentence.
Thanks for listening as always
Jonny
