Hello, I hope all is groovy. Pretty groovy here. Played Monopoly last night with Mrs Trunk and the kids (slowly tempting kids away from tech) and got thrashed by Mrs Trunk, who managed to build 6 houses in the expensive bit of London in the time it took me to buy the electric and water and get out of prison.

Anyway, sad news yesterday, passing of a true Hollywood legend, Kirk Douglas. So the 50p Friday today would not be complete without some Kirk-based movie music. So we have Spartacus (already a classic 50p Friday because of the "Love Theme" from the score) and now Lust For Life. Music by Miklos Rozsa for the classic Van Gogh biopic. Great music from a great Hollywood period. All can be found here for 50p.

In other news I got an email yesterday from a man called Ben, who sent me this film. 35,000 viewings in less than a day. It's brilliant and worth watching for lots of reasons. And the album can be found here.

I'm now off the record fayre. I don't need any more records. I shouldn't go. But I am irresistibly drawn to it, like a dog to another dog's bum.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
