Hello, I hope all is groovy. Pretty groovy here working on lots of things. Including my bad hair style.

So, today, post half term and still in the middle of terrible and unpredictable British weather (even my local park is flooded and we don't live near water). So I thought I'd bring in some old sunshine - with Mambo By Morales. That's Noro Morales (legend!!) and Humberto Morales (Humbert Humbert). You may have heard of one, the other or both. And here they are together with a side each of killer old dance music. The joyful Mambos By Morales can be found here.

Last week I was away but was texted loads about the sudden death of Mr Andrew Weatherall. I used to see him all the time in Hackney, always being very funny, slightly rude and very well turned out. And often sporting one of my Original Peter record bags, normally bulging with the day's purchases. He will be missed by many and for many different reasons. We replayed the OST Show he came and did back in 2010 at the weekend. It can be heard here. What a guy.

For a film this week we can all thank James from Roundtable who sent me this. Praise the Lord.

Note for the diary - myself and Bob Stanley will be playing Test Card and TV music at Supermax, the Spritland venue below Happy Face Pizza in Kings X. The date - 12th March, from 7pm and it's FREE FREE FREE.

This mailing has been sent to you very early because I am leaving the house before 7am in order to get to a shop in The Midlands before opening time. Nope it's not a record shop. It's a book shop. And no, not that kind of bookshop. The other kind.

Thanks for listening as always.

Jonny
