Hello, I hope all is as well as it can be. It's OK here, dealing with screen battles, a grumpy teenager (who now wants to builds fires everywhere), a moody nine year old who SHOUTS A LOT and a very stubborn bamboo in the garden that I have been digging out for four days and still it refuses to leave. Apart from that, we are all well. But we did break our second wooden spoon last night banging pots for the NHS at 8pm.
The 50p offerings today (still with proceeds to the NHS) are as follows: the classic Trunk religious compilation Resurrection, perfect for this Easter weekend. And also Fred Katz and his Jammers. I reckon laods of people have been remaining in their jammers for much of the time recently and I've always found this a very interesting LP for many reason - he was the backing musician for Ken Nordine and he has a kooky, clever way about music. A really great album. All can be found here.
With all this lockdown I am very much missing my weekly attempts at yoga. I have not tried it on line yet, but I have been following this groovy guy from the 1980s - what a guy, what a clip. Thank you BBC.
Finally here is a mix I did for a newish radio station set up by some chums of mine - Amateruism Radio. It features a short intro by me but more interestingly, tracks from some of the LPs I bought in the last 12 months. I listened again last night, sounds alright actually.
I'm now off to tackle the bamboo again. And no, that's no a euphemism.
Thanks for listening as always, and please stay well.
Jonny
