Hello, I hope you are well. All fine here, a major PS4 incident this week where I ended up putting the controllers and headphones in the recycling, only to remove them as they are cleary not recyleable. Sadly my kids now have them back, but we did get an evening free from computer games as a result of my actions.

Apologies for the lack of proper mailout last week, but thanks to MacStation in Dalston I am back up and running. And they made my old MacBook all sterile and clean on the outside, which is nice. Heaven knows what they might have cleaned off.

Today I have a very exciting (for me) 50p offering: Mel Torme Meets The British. It's his rarest LP (i think) and the only one to my knowledge recorded in the UK. Yes, this is Mel - one of the mightly Gods of USA crooning, THE man with THE velvet voice, singing "I've Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts" and more! Brilliant. And there's a totally sublime version of "A Nightingale Sang" on the album too, and I mean sublime. It has taken me decades to find this LP - been looking since the 1990s. Thrilled that I have it. And now it's yours for just 50p here.

In other news, a new Trunk LP or unreleased music will be offered up in a week's time. More news in 7 days. This will be the last one for a while as I now have a delay in new releases, thanks to a lack of artwork and a lack of music. I blame the virus.

Thanks for all the links to films and channels this week, all brilliant. The one that caught my ear and eye was this, Dave Brubeck doing The Stranglers.

I'm now off to dig up a bush root. I have been promoted (by myself) from digging up endless bamboo roots to digging up unwanted weird bushes in the front garden. My plan is to create enough space in the little front garden to construct a small record stall and freak out the locals.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
