Hello, I hope you are well. All groovy here, busy week but I really can't remember anything really thrilling that I've done, apart from cyling to a record shop 13 miles away where I found an interesting early 80s record made by a man trying to sell his terrible singing to anyone. More on that another time.

I stopped on the way back at a bar for drink and a wee, and somehow manage accidently piddle into my cycle helmet. Possibly the thrill of record shopping caused it. Who knows.

For the 50p offering this week we have Lucy Reed, AKA The Singing Reed. Great American vocalist who no one has really heard of. Certainly (for me) a cut above the usual. This was her debut album. Great version of "Inchworm", great version of "Lazy Afternoon" too. Perfect for, yes, you've guessed it, a lazy afternoon. Lucy Reed can be found here.

More Ecstasy For Recrds tees have arrived, this was never the plan but loads of people keep asking me for them. They are all here. Even maded extra small ones this time.

More films sent over this week, but this is a sure fire classic. I recall seeing Apocalypse Now done in Lego for a pop video back in the 1990s, now it's Pingo Meets The Thing, AKA Thingu. Just brilliant.

Martin Green and myself are playing five hours of library records at a socially safe Spiritland Kings Cross this coming Sunday, free too book tables here. Or just give them a call.

Also, I recorded more Morricone radio shows, so there are now 6 in the series for Resonance FM. Number 3 airs this Saturday.

I'm now off on my bike again. This is in the vague hope this may well help me lose the "Lockdown Lager Lard" that has accumulated around my waist over the last one hundred and something days. Fat chance it will do anything.

Thanks for listening as always.

Jonny
