Morning, I hope you are well. All reasonably good this end but just found out about TIER 2. This may well play havoc with my current no drinking alcohol record which is 18 days if you don't include last Wednesday. I am also trying to give up listening to the news.

So, I have the perfect album for 50p today - Mose Allison's Autumn Song. Excellent inventive piano playing (and some singing too) by someone who gets very little attention these days. Really worth hearing it just for "Autumn Song". Mose is here for 50p

In other news I have been putting the finishing touches to the new Jonny Trunk / Fuel book. It has taken months to get it all sorted and will be launched via Kickstarter next week I hope. It's next in our series, following on from Own Label and Wrappers Delight. More about that next week. Very exciting indeed. Well I think so.

If you are about this weekend and fancy a trip to TIER 2 Stoke Newington on Sunday, I am having a stall at the Thurston Moore / Ecstatic Peace Library record fayre. 1a Bouverie Road, N16. Midday onwards. It will be a small but fun affair, it is outside in the courtyard (NOT INDOORS), social / physical distancing and mask wearing in place of course. I have lots of old records to sell starting at 10p. Free entry.

For a film this week we have Tomorrow Come Sunday. I only know about it as it has a weirdy old private press folky soundtrack featuring Radiophonic Workshopper Peter Howell. I'd never seen the film, gave up all hope until I got an email about it recently...

I'm now off to another record fayre. I won't have time for buying records or cheeky vinyl "banter" as I've actually got a meeting with Shirley from Record Collector mag while I'm there. That's Ian Shirley.

Thanks for listening

Jonny
