Hello, I hope all is groovy. All groovy here, spent the week up to my neck in mail order, sending out the all new Trunk book Auto Erotica. And thanks to a bit of unexpected online press the book got in to the top 500 on Amazon and hit number 1 across several Amazon sub-genres including Classic Cars, Automotive Pictorial, Industrial Design and more. Amazing. I found it difficult to get my bike helmet on for a few hours.
All the pre ordered books have now been sent out, if you are after one, I have a few copies left, PLUS a few of the very limited Saab Turbo tees and Delorean sweatshirts I made for the different KIckstarter pleges. All can be found here.
In other news the teen has drawn mushrooms and aubergines all over the kitchen. Quite odd.
If you are at a loose end on Sunday myself and Martin Green (AKA The LIbrary Lads (so I'm now told)) will be playing five hours of beautiful and bonkers library music at Spiritland South Bank - at the back of the Royal Festival Hall, from midday until 5pm. Free to get in. Worth every penny.
Until then here is an early film of Michael O"Shea playing his German door thing.
I'm now off to Spitalfields Record Fayre. Last time I came away with two signed Womble singles. From the Womble no one remembers. Who knows what treasures await me this time.
Thanks for listening.
