Hello, I hope all is groovy. All fine here, the dust bowl that was our old kitchen is less dusty now, we have units but no power, no hob, no oven, and one child on a slight hunger strike complaining that microwaved dishes are not nice (apart from popcorn). So I've fired up the barbeque again and did chicken in the dark last night.
In other news the teen has started decorating jeans: he has painted a large white star shooting across his crotch area. Answers on a postcard please.
This week I have been organising more Trunk Xmas larks, I'm picking up some sweatshirts today, tees next week, other things arriving, all will be revealed late next week or the week after. PLUS some NEW VINYL!!!! Also, I have just completed the all new Trunk book which is going to print on Monday and will be for sale next April for RSD. It really is a beautful thing. Foreword by Jon Savage.
Less savage is today's film - I forgot to send out this odd video a while ago. It's a Zen like odd drive around where I live.
Thanks to all the people who emailed last week about also having an old, old dad. Someone emailed and said their dad was older than mine and was even a swimmer in the 1936 Olympics, which is massively impressive. And he had more kids than my dad too.
I'm now off to the record fayre down the road. As usual I am very excited at the possiblilty that something amazing will be there (could be a a record, could be a human, could be just a moment). I still cannot quite believe I feel that way after so many years but I love the fact I still do.
Thanks for listening
Jonny
