Morning, I hope all is well. All OK here, the teen has been away all week camping in Kent with chums. It was all an all male affair to start with, then girls arrived on day two. Oh to be a carefree teen again. In some respects.

It has actually been a very strange week or so for myself, my wife and many in my Stoke Newington community as Marcus Fairs, local dad, journalist, Mildmay Club member and all round talented superman (and sponsor of the local football teams) died very suddenly. Last time I saw him was at a party on Saturday 25th June. We talked about frogs as the tadpoles we gave him for his new pond had all disappeared. He was fit, well and chatty. Within a few days he was gone - he died on June 3rd. It's like a meteor has come out of nowhere and hit us all. It's the sort of devastating event that makes us remember just how fragile our lives really are and how suddenly everything can change. So go get on with it all. And rest in peace Marcus.

I was told about Toyah and Fripp's Sunday Lunch thing, so I went and had a look. Hell yeah.

I'm now off to the Spits Record Fayre. And I can barely contain myself as the actual Antiques Roadshow is in my local park this Sunday. I'm going to take granny. But not to get her valued.

Thanks for listening as always
