Morning, I hope all is groovy. All fine here. I actually enjoyed the heatwave, although I did find the hot wind broadsiding me on my bike on Wednesday a little disconcerting. I called my mother to see how she was handling the heat to which she replied that she was sitting watching Antiques Road Trip in her knickers with the curtains drawn. Not what I wanted to hear from an 85 year old just before I started on the evening meal prep.

Anyway, a new Trunk LP has arrived and it won't be for sale for about a month as everyone is going on holidays, including all the people who help everyone go on holidays. So more news of that in a few weeks. A new delivery of Original Peter bags has also arrived. They are for sale. It has taken about 11 months to get our sold out record bags back in stock.

We also found out this week our little dog has little fleas.

I played a long set at a new restaurant last night; they had some astounding new geeky hi fi equipment - sounded very lively and sonically revealling when I played some old D&B through it. And I also met a young woman (girlfriend of the owner) there who started talking to me about prog rock (while I was playing some Oblivion Express). Turns out her father used to be a legendary dealer in prog and folk, and she now has his collection of 40,000 records with multiple copies of things like Comus, Pussy Plays and Tudor Lodge.

I'm now off to meet other ladies who don't collect records but do go swimming, then to Portobello for meetings about REALLY important stuff.

And here's Bob Godfrey's film with Bruce Lacy about advertising.

Thanks for listening as always.
