Morning, I hope all well. All good here, a little quite in the house as teen one went camping in Kent on Tuesday for three nights with a gang of i) lads and ii) girls. Apparently they are all coming back today on the train, on the day of the train strike. So it will be interesting to see how far they all get.
In other news the oven has blown. We turned it on planning funky fish finger wraps and it blew, as did the whole of the ground floor AGAIN. The next day the oven was removed from its perch and the electrician found a small mouse (yes, another) had worked its way inside the oven's electrical system and electrocuted itself on the motherboard. We are currently eating sandwiches and salads until either my wife or I stump up the £145 for the new motherboard and we cannot decide whose fault it actually was. I am currently losing the argument.

I bought no records this week, which is unsual for me but the new Trunk LP is in and I am just preparing myself to tell everyone about it. But I have been a bit busy with other stuff, like mice, kids (still on hols), a dog with possible fleas, a really messy office, some on-line banking issues, some car issues, my mother, British Gas, The Post Office and some other stuff that used to be really quite simple to sort but is now really hard as there are no humans to talk to anymore, just chat bots and automated nonsense.
If you think I am grumpy well here is a brilliantly grumpy local Thornton Dale council meeting. It is superb.
I'm now off to Fulham to see an older woman about some newish business. Last time I went to see her she offered me a gin and tonic at 10:30am. Luckily I don't get there until 11am today.
Thanks for listening as always
